Applying For Funding

We want to hear from registered charitable trusts and not-for-profit organisations committed to delivering projects or initiatives that will enhance the lives of people in Auckland and Northland.

Boundary mapTo be considered for funding an organisation must be:

  • An incorporated society, or a charitable trust that has been registered for at least 12 months
  • Controlled by an organisation operating under an adopted constitution and rules
  • Within the Trust's region.

If you are applying for funding for a new project, or you have never applied to ASB Community Trust before, it is important that you talk to us before filling in an application form.

Audited accounts

Where an organisation is applying for $40,000 or more, a copy of your most recent audited annual accounts must be included with your application. If your organisation is applying for less than $40,000 you only need to supply the most recent annual accounts, signed by two office holders.
Please note that if your organisation’s constitution requires it to have audited accounts, you will still have to include audited accounts with your application.

Boundaries

The Trust's southern boundary is from Port Waikato Head following the Waikato River to the Whangamarino River, then along the Whangamarino River, before following the Mangatangi Stream to where it adjoins Mangatangi Road. The boundary then runs from the corner of Monument and Miranda Roads straight to Miranda. Our region covers all areas north of this, up to Cape Reinga and including the islands in the Hauraki Gulf.

Those organisations that fall outside the boundaries of our region will be considered to the extent that they provide benefit to our region
